Winter hiking, snow shoe hiking, tobogganing, horse-drawn sleigh rides - ranging from sporty to funny to romantic and has something for every taste.

Winter hiking

Numerous hiking trails allow you to enjoy wonderful and care-free hours out amidst unspoilt nature. Enjoy the refreshing winter air and the wonderful view onto St. Johann and the Salzachtal valley. Along the trails there are many guest houses inviting you to stop for a pause and a bite to eat.
Numerous winter hiking trails can also be combined with a jolly tobogganing session.

Tobogganing - an experience for the whole family

At the Alpendorf there is a 1.5 km long car-free, floodlit, natural tobogganing run. Further downhill possibilities are the tobogganing run at Hahnbaum.

Snow shoe hiking

Once a week we look forward to accompanying you through the snowy woods and discovering the loveliest spots around the Alpendorf with you.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides

The white winter wonderland is particularly romantic on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Cosily wrapped in blankets, one can enjoy the wonderful winter wonderland at the Alpendorf and take a warming break in one of the numerous huts/taverns with mulled wine and tea.
